Jordan rejects Send Military to Libya

Government of Jordan, on Thursday (24 / 3) said his help against the international coalition effort against the Libyan government will be shaped as a humanitarian effort.

We will provide an ambulance or humanitarian assistance. We will not be involved in the attack on Libyan territory," said Jordan's Information Minister, Taher Adwan told AFP, a day after British Prime Minister, David Cameron said that Kuwait and Amman would provide.

Adwan said the country would not conduct military actions in Libya.

"We are ready to help the problems of humanity if we are asked to do so in the near future. But we will not operate fighter jets or other military things," he added.

Qatar has operated the Mirage fighter jets to become a single Arab country that wishes to deploy its military forces in a coalition attack led the United States, Britain and France.

"We will receive logistical support from countries such as Kuwait and Jordan. I hope other assistance will also be provided," Cameron said to members of the council on Wednesday (23 / 3) yesterday, responding to the level of support for Arab countries.

In his statement, Mr Cameron did not give further details about government assistance from Kuwait and Jordan.
